Nusa Penida’s headline view is Kelingking Beach and its enormous dinosaur-shaped cliff, one of Indonesia’s most recognisable images.
The western route can also connect Broken Beach, Angel’s Billabong and Crystal Bay. Roads and distances are harder than they appear on a map, so do not try to compress the whole island into a few hours.
