Taman Ujung was once used by Karangasem’s royal family. Today it is a large architectural complex of palaces, pools, long bridges and gardens.
Climb to the upper terrace to understand the scale: the palace lies below, green hills rise beyond it, and the sea sits on the horizon.
The grounds are spacious and made for an unhurried walk.
